My daughter is studying abroad and I haven't really posted anything because I am so paranoid about things, but she's had an allergic reaction to something, she's allergic to penicillin and has a rash on her legs. She's finally taking an antihistamine, after figuring out it might have been a Cordon Blue sammie, and now we're waiting.
Is there anything more helpless than waiting?
I'm trying to stay positive. She'll be fine I know. But still... feeling helpless.
And because I know there's power in prayer, please, please send your positive thoughts and prayers for my girl.
So sorry to hear that!! Definitely scarier when we can't be there with them. I'll be thinking of and praying for you and your daughter today!

My son had a similar reaction to penicillin, and I remember how scary it was. I can only imagine what you must be going through, with her overseas. Both you and your daughter are in our prayers, for her safety and quick recovery and for your mother's heart.

I will pray right now. I just saw this now. I hope she is doing better by now.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! She is much better, wheeeew! I cried the second I got off the phone with her, my poor girl was crying and stressing, but she saw a doctor, got some meds and is much better.
ReplyDeleteThank you again for your prayers!
